Eberwein in Gussenstadt Germany so the gun says. The gun loads/unloads from the right side thru a swig out lever the cylinder is fixed and does not open or swing out in any way, your HELP would be appreciated.
Welcome to the forum! It looks like your M77Mk2 was shipped in late 1992. Ruger is known to ship their guns out of numerical order-even years later than you might think. I have TWO of the skeleton rifles, both blued. These are much harder to find then the stainless rifles. The stainless 7mag is a fairly common find. The rifles are top-notch, but they are not target rifles.
I routinely see 1-2 inches at 100 yards from the bench. Handloading can definitely help here.
Neither of my Skeletons are magnums, but I'm willing to bet the 7mag will set you back a bit. Here is a link to Ruger's serial number history.
It is a great guide, but, to be 100% sure, Call or write Ruger Customer Service for specifics. Good luck, keep us posted. Enjoy your new, very cool, rifle.
Pictures, please when you can! Hi thanks for the reply, I must admit I didn't think the rifle was that old. It looks in good condition. The stock I might change at a later date, depending on how it shoots. I did take a couple of photos in the store with my phone, but I can't suss out how to upload them as yet.
If you have an email address I'll send them to you and perhaps you could attach them for me. Bob, Go back into your 'UserCP' menu and allow for PMs.(Private messaging'. Then I will send you the email. I wouldn't change out the stock-the skeletons are bit more collectible than not.

Every Ruger firearm ever produced features a unique serial number stamped into the gunmetal that includes information about the date the firearm was manufactured. Unfortunately, Ruger does not ship a comprehensive manual on how to read those production dates with their products.
This can lead to confusion if you come into possession of a Ruger firearm and wish to know the date of its production. Fortunately, Ruger makes an online tool available to Ruger owners to help read Ruger serial numbers and determine the weapon's date of manufacture.
Access the Ruger website. The company's website link is provided below in the 'Resources' section of this article. Position your cursor over the 'Customer Service' menu button at the top of the web page, then click on the 'Instruction Manuals and Product History' option in the drop-down menu. Click the 'Show All' option next to the firearm type that corresponds to your Ruger.
For example, if you are looking up a pistol's production date, select the 'Show All' link next to the 'Pistol' category. Locate your specific firearm's model number in the drop-down list that appears and click on the appropriate link. Match the serial number on your weapon to the serial number ranges that appear in the new pop-up window. This will tell you the year of manufacture for your Ruger firearm.
